Tomato and Basil Pasta
Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add tomatoes and cook until softened.
- Toss cooked pasta in the tomato sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Season with salt, pepper, and fresh basil. Garnish with Parmesan and serve hot.
