Orata al Limone (Lemon-Baked Sea Bream)
Ingredients:
- 1 whole sea bream (or snapper), cleaned and gutted
- 2 lemons, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup dry white wine (preferably Chardonnay DOC)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Place the fish on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Rub the inside and outside of the fish with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the cavity with lemon slices, parsley, and thyme.
- Pour the white wine over the fish and arrange the remaining lemon slices on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is tender and flaky.
- Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a fresh green salad.
Tip: Pair with roasted potatoes or a light couscous salad for a complete meal.
