Located in the Southern Rhone Valley, the Château Maucoil estate dates back to Roman times, when the property was used as an army fortress. Originally planted in vines in the 17th century, Château Maucoil is now 100% Biodynamic across its 45 hectares.

With an extraordinary diversity of soils ranging from sand to limestone and clay, Château Maucoil delivers rare expression in its superb Châteauneuf-du-Pape and extraordinary quality and value from its privileged Côtes du Rhône sites. The quality and value of this 100% biodynamic Côte du Rhône Villages Red is exceptional.

Strong ruby red hue in colour, aromatic and rich with black fruit on the nose (blackberry and plum). Good concentration, broad and solid with lovely length on the palate.
